Nasi Kunyit/ Tumeric rice

Nasi Kunyit is usually eaten during special occasions with curry. The traditional nasi kunyit is cooked with coconut milk. This healthier version is just as lovely and can be eaten with any Asian meal. Using a rice cooker, the rice can be cooked very quickly and easily. If you do not have a rice cooker, you can cook it on the stove. You may have to adjust the amount of water. If the rice is not cooked, add a little more water at the end.
