Lemongrass lamb chops

I love to eat lamb, but hardly ever cook it. I usually wait for my mom to make some of her lamb parathal and pass me a some to enjoy. I found small pieces of lamb chop at my grocery store this weekend and felt inspired to cook up a batch. It took me about 5 minutes to make the marinate. I then marinated the chops for about 6 hours and then at dinner, baked them up for about 15 minutes. The results were really divine. Juicy, succulent pieces of lamb. I am definitely going to make this recipe more often. This lamb will go well with rice or potatoes. There is a bit of a gravy that is quite delicious.


16 pieces of small lamb chops (if you are cooking up more meat, just double the marinate)

1 tbsp of black pepper

2 tbsp olive oil

1/3 cup oyster sauce

2 tbsp soy sauce

6 cloves of garlic, minced

1 tsp ginger, minced

3 stalks of lemon grass stalks (sliced thinly)

juice of 1 lemon

1 handful coriander leaves, chopped and a few pieces for garnish.


1. Mix all the ingredients together, except for the lamb.

2. Add the lamb in and mix with the marinade.

3. Marinate for 1 hour ( or for as long as you are able to)

4. Bake at 400 F for 15 minutes, until cooked.

5. Garnish with more coriander leaves.

    Gotta try this. I do not like the smell of lamb, but this really sounds delicious.
